CHICAGO HEIGHTS CHAPTER ORIENTATION
Gyrls In The H.O.O.D (Healthy, Optimistic, Outstanding, Determined) Foundation provides adolescent reproductive/sexual health education & social support services, that aims to improve health outcomes and challenge negative stereotypes.
This Saturday we will be at the Chicago Heights Library hosting an orientation. Feel free to sign up your teenage gyrls who live in the area.

Join us as we connect our community to food resources, and critical information around SNAP benefit changes.
If you or a loved one are affected by SNAP changes come out and speak directly to a benefit specialist.
Taji Gaines, CEO of B4 Beverage Company and PTSD Garden has cultivated gardens around the city. PTSD Garden fed many people in our community last year and is set to do the same this summer. This saturday Mr. Gaines is coming to the H.O.O.D to lead us in a gardening session. Participants will leave with their very own plant to grow at home. 🌶 🫑 🍓 🍉
TCA Health will be on site distributing goodies and program literature.
DJ FlyGod will most definitely have the jams going throughout the day.
Free groceries will be distributed at the end of event to those who participated.

Gyrls In The H.O.O.D deserve to live in safe communities! Join us on Juneteenth as we make a little noise on 71st.
Kicking off on 71st and King Drive at noon.
Afterwards, we will host a community celebration!

Certified Phlebotomy Program
We are so proud to have brought a tuition free Certified Phlebotomy Program to the Greater Grand Crossing community. This short-term certification can be a great way to change your circumstances and totally reinvent yourself. We look forward to seeing the successful outcomes of our graduates.
This course is EVERY Saturday and Sunday in November.

Come by Gryls in the H.O.O.D. Foundation for candid conversation, food, and fun.
Participants will receive a H.O.O.D Kit and a $25 gift card.
This week we are working on our vision boards, so bring old magazines or newspapers.
